REPORT OF A CASE
A 2-month-old white boy presented with multiple red bumps on his elbows. His mother did not feel that they bothered him in any way. He had been carried to term during a pregnancy without complications. His family history was noncontributory.
Physical examination revealed a healthy boy with multiple, small (2-4 mm), firm, erythematous papules on the extensor surfaces of both elbows (Figure 1 and Figure 2). Laboratory values were all within normal limits. No other physical or developmental abnormalities were noted. A biopsy specimen was obtained from the patient's right elbow (Figure 3).

Congenital osteoma cutis.
HISTOPATHOLOGIC FINDINGS
