With reference to my paper, "A New Cutaneous Manifestation in the Syndrome of Vitamin A Deficiency," which was published in the November issue of the ARCHIVES OF DERMATOLOGY AND SYHILOLOGY (28:700, 1933), Dr. Lapa of Lisbon, Portugal, recently informed me that a dermatosis similar to the one I described had previously been reported from China.
