MILIARY, PUSTULAR AND ERYTHEMATOUS, SQUAMOUS, NUMMULAR DERMOÉPIDERMITE IN PROGRESSING CENTRIFUGAL PLAQUES (GOUGEROT). Presented by DR. BOLESLAW LAPOWSKI.

This boy, aged 16, born and reared in Jersey City, N. J., stated at the time of admission to the hospital that he had an eruption that started when he was about 4 months old. His brother suffered from the same disease.

The eruption began, according to the history, with the appearance of vesicles or vesicopustules in groups on an erythematous surface and produced patches which increased in size by peripheral extension. Some of the lesions showed a tendency toward central healing by the formation of dried scales and scabs which gave the impression sometimes of a marginate eczema, seborrhea or psoriasis. In some instances when the healing process was far advanced, there was also a suggestion of lupus erythematosus.
