A CASE for DIAGNOSIS. Presented by DR. H. P. JACOBSON.
R. K., a woman aged 44, a Hungarian housewife, states that when she was 2 years old she was burned extensively by hot water. The burns healed, leaving a small red area on the right ear and at the left angle of the mouth. At that time an area of erythema appeared on the posterior aspect of the left thigh. The lesion on the face disappeared, but that on the leg has been growing slowly. About four years ago the lesion on the ear began to enlarge after the patient had a serious cold. On the lower half of the right ear there is a lesion which extends forward about 1 inch (2.5 cm.).
