Morphea. Presented by DR. F. F. SOWERS, Fairmont, W. Va.

Miss R. C., aged 18, presented herself on Sept. 19, 1936, because of an eruption on the legs and abdomen of seven years' duration.

The eruption consists of several smooth, shiny, yellowish red circular patches on the legs and of one patch on the abdomen; the involved areas vary in size from 2 to 7.25 cm. The patches are definitely indurated and present a pinkish inflammatory halo; some telangiectases are present throughout the entire lesions.
