A Case for Diagnosis (Atypical Psoriasis?). Presented by DR. HENRY D. NILES.

J. T., a man aged 39, is presented from the Skin and Cancer Unit of the New York Post-Graduate Medical School and Hospital because of a generalized eruption of five weeks' duration. From Nov. 14, 1937, to Feb. 10, 1938, he suffered from an infection of the left thumb. Six weeks ago a lesion developed on the right forearm, which he covered with adhesive tape. When this was removed, there was a red vesicular itchy patch. A few days later a similar patch appeared on the left shoulder. One week after this, a more or less generalized eruption developed which itched intensely. The patient states that he has taken no drugs except liquid petrolatum.
