We are reporting a case of multiple symmetric nevi of the face with tuberous sclerosis associated with epilepsy and a large fibromatous growth on the scalp. Beside other important features, the abnormal electroencephalographic findings for 4 other members of the family are also presented.

REPORT OF CASE

L. T.,¹ an American-born woman aged 20, of an Italian mother and a French father, not consanguineous, was referred by the North Hudson Hospital, Weehawken, N. J., for treatment at the Skin and Cancer Unit of the New York Post-Graduate Medical School and Hospital on June 20, 1940. She presented a large disfiguring growth on the scalp and a prominent red eruption on the face (figs. 1 and 2). She gave a history of frequent epileptic attacks.
