Rosacea-Like Tuberculid of Lewandowsky. Presented by DR. A. FLETCHER HALL.

J. E. C., a man aged 31, an aircraft assemblyman, began to notice "pimples" on his upper lip in February 1943. During the following two months similar lesions appeared on the cheeks and forehead. All lesions have been symptomless, and none have suppurated. In August 1943 the lesions were noninflammatory. Some were red, and others were yellowish pink. Now no lesions are red; many are skin colored, and others are of a light tan color. All lesions are slightly elevated above the niveau. Diascopy reveals apple jelly pigmentation in the center of some of the lesions. All lesions had this appearance on diascopic examination before treatment. The result of a tuberculin patch test in April 1943 was positive. A roentgenogram of the chest showed evidence of glandular involvement. Examination of the sputum did reveal tubercle bacilli.
