A Case for Diagnosis (Lupus Erythematosus? Pellagra?). Presented by DR. ANKER K. JENSEN.
E. M., a Negro woman aged 64 years, presents an eruption of twenty-three years' duration on her face. During the last year a brownish smooth discoloration in the groins has developed. The eruption on the face is symmetric and deeply pigmented. The central part around the nose is darkest. This fades to a lighter pigmentation on the sides of the face. The margins of the tongue are smooth. There is some alopecia at the edges of the scalp hair. The pubic area is almost entirely free of hair.
