H. C. ROBINSON, M.D.

Arch Derm Syphilol. 1945;52(2):91-92.

Since that time cases of the disease under various names have been reported by Wheeler,2 Rutherford,3 Smith,4 Bailey,5 Ginandes,6 Chick and Witzberger,7 Edgar and Syverton,8 Ageloff,9 Levy10 and Murphy.11 In 1944 Lever12 re

ported 2 cases and thoroughly reviewed the literature. His discussion has tended to clarify the situation, and it is to be hoped that in the future students will recognize the entity, relatively rare and rarely fatal but occasionally leading to loss of vision.
