Lichen Sclerosus et Atrophicus. Presented by DR. W. R. HUBLER.

A. W., a white girl aged 11 years, has had slightly pruritic white spots on the forearms, the shoulders and the feet since May 1944. They appeared suddenly as flat white papules. At no time were they raised or violaceous. There has been no recent change in the eruption.

There are numerous depressed atrophic white areas on the flexor surfaces of the left forearm and the flexor and the extensor surfaces of the right forearm. A few similar areas are present on the shoulders and the trunk. The legs and the dorsa of the feet are also involved. The areas are distributed in a guttate and linear fashion. Many of the lesions have coalesced without losing the outlines of the original papules. Black comedo-like plugs are present in the midportions of most of the guttate atrophic papules.
