B. M., a white woman aged 59, born in the United States, had been in fairly good health until three years ago when a gangrenous appendix was removed. On both legs scaling plaques developed, which after many months disappeared, leaving no trace. Four months ago the present eruption developed, accompanied with a mild burning sensation.
