To the Editor: I read with interest a report on "Seal Finger" by Dr. John Skinner of Clayton, Mo., which appears in a current issue of the A. M. A. ARCHIVES OF DERMATOLOGY.

Dr. Skinner indicates that this condition has been described in the literature of the U. S. A. only once before. However, a report of this entity has been reported in the literature of Canada—the Canadian Medical Association Journal 69:155-156, 1953.
