Involvement of skin grafts by epithelioma of various types is apparently not rare. However, a rather extensive review of the literature reveals no reported cases of involvement of a skin graft by extension onto its surface without disruption of the graft. As the following case does illustrate this phenomenon, it is thought to be of reportable interest.

Report of a Case

The patient, a 45-year-old white woman, was first seen in the Dermatology Clinic, Brooke Army

Hospital, on Sept. 28, 1948. At that time she had two lesions involving the temple area just lateral to the right eye and the right upper lid. She stated that previous histological studies had revealed basal-cell epithelioma.
