The antimalarial drugs quinacrine (Atabrine),^1,2 chloroquine (Aralen),³ and hydroxychloroquine (Plaquenil),⁴ as well as amodiaquin (Camoquin),⁵ have been used in the treatment of discoid lupus erythematosus and in the suppression of polymorphous light eruption.

Since the summer of 1955 we have observed the results of the treatment of these diseases with a tablet which is a combination of quinacrine 25 mg., chloroquine 50 mg., and hydroxychloroquine 65 mg., called Triquin,^* and have come to the
