The ARCHIVES OF DERMATOLOGY is pleased to announce the appointment of and to welcome Dr. Carl Truman Nelson as a member of its Editorial Board.
Dr. Nelson received his undergraduate and medical school training at Harvard University, served as intern at the University of Minnesota Hospitals, and had his graduate training in dermatology at Columbia. For eight years he taught bacteriology and immunology at Harvard, and during the war for four years, he served as bacteriologist and epidemiologist in the Army Medical Corps. He then, in 1946, became associated with the Department of Dermatology at Columbia University Presbyterian Hospital, New York, where, since 1951, he has been Professor and Chairman of the Department. He is a member of the A.M.A. Committee on Cosmetics, and a member of the Committee on the Cutaneous System of the National Academy of Science and National Research Council.
