Dr. Hamilton Montgomery, emeritus consultant in dermatology in the Mayo Clinic and emeritus professor of dermatology in the Mayo Clinic, was honored at a meeting of the Minnesota Dermatological Society on Friday, April 28, 1961, at the Ancker Hospital in St. Paul.
After papers by Dr. Alvin Zelickson, University of Minnesota Dermatology Fellow, and Dr. Robert Kim, Mayo Foundation, Fellow in Dermatology, on "Electron Microscopy of Human Epidermis" and "Alopecia Mucinosa," respectively, there was a clinical meeting and then a dinner at the Minnesota Club, where Dr. Henry Michelson spoke as follows.
It is our privilege tonight to pay homage to one of our distinguished confreres, Dr. Hamilton Montgomery.
Dr. Montgomery graduated from Harvard Medical School in 1922. His home was in Chicago, where his father, Dr. Frank H. Montgomery, in association with James Nevins Hyde, created a partnership which was very influential in the growth of dermatology in the
