Diagnosis: Mycosis Fungoides. Presented by DR. OSCAR D. SCHWARTZ and DR. JOHN N. GREKIN.

A white man, age 40, for the past 5 years has had periodic erupting crops of papules over the arms, buttocks, and calves. Each group of lesions persisted for about 2 to 3 months and was then joined by a new showering of lesions. This cycle has persisted to the present. Intermittent itching, especially at night, has accompanied the eruption throughout its course.

The patient's general health has always been good except for one attack of lower abdominal pain experienced approximately 5 years ago. Roentgenogram studies at that time prompted a diagnosis of diverticulitis. There has been no recurrence of abdominal pain, so no further roentgenological examinations have been performed.
