Epidermolysis Bullosa Dystrophica With Stricture of the Esophagus. Presented by DR. CONRAD STRITZLER.

A 29-year-old Negro man is re-presented with a continuing eruption of bullae on the face around the mouth, on the neck, elbows, knees, and feet, and in the axillae.

The condition began 16 years ago (at age 13) and has been continuous with but minor and short remissions since. Bullae appear upon slightest trauma, sometimes apparently without injury of any sort, and heal with scarring. The finger nails are all destroyed and the finger tips are tapered stumps. Bullae have been almost constant in the mouth and probably beyond the mouth, because the esophagus shows stricutre by x-ray visualization.
