Sudden Disseminated Warts In an Older Woman. Presented by DR. THEODORE CORNBLEET.
A white woman, aged 68, has numerous warts on trunk and extremities, which appeared and spread quickly last August. There were no lesions present before that time. No source was traceable. There are no subjective symptoms.

DR. SAMUEL J. ZAKON: In the management of verruca vulgaris, I have often treated one lesion, and, occasionally, the other lesions would disappear. Some of those on the face and neck can be removed easily by coagulation and curette, while those on the body may be left alone.
DR. H. H. RODIN: The sudden dissemination of warts may occur following an acute dermatitis usually of the contact type. It was my impression that this process interfered in some way with the immunological factors limiting the spread of the virus of the existing verrucae. With the subsidence of the
