Annual Essay Contest.—

The American Dermatological Association Research and Educational Fund, Inc., is again offering awards for the best essays submitted for original work, not previously published, relative to some fundamental aspect of dermatology or syphilology. The purpose of this contest is to stimulate investigators to original work in these fields. Two cash awards are available as follows: $1,000 for first place and $400 for second place.

Manuscripts typed in English with double spacing and ample margins as for publication, together with illustrations, charts and tables, all of which must be in quintuplicate, are to be submitted not later than Oct 1, 1965.

The manuscripts should be sent to Dr. R. R. Kierland, Secretary, American Dermatological Association Research and Educational Fund, Inc., Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minn.
