Nelson Paul Anderson Memorial Essay Contest.—
The Pacific Dermatologic Association, Inc is offering an award for the best essay submitted relating to the field of dermatology. The purpose of the contest is to stimulate original work on the part of younger men. The contest is open to all physicians in graduate dermatologic training or not more than five years out of such training. Essays may be submitted from any of the United States, from Mexico, or from Western Canada. The winning essayist will receive a cash prize of $500 and his expenses to, from, and at the next meeting of the Association will be paid. This meeting will be held in Palm Springs, Calif, Oct 27-Nov 1, 1966.
The essays shall be judged on the following considerations: (A) originality of ideas; (B) potential importance of the work; (C) experimental methods and use of controls; (D) evaluation of results; and (E)
